This is a piece I made last year but didn't end up selling. I updated it with some glass paints and am happier with the end result now.
This piece is composed of smooth white and black glass for the base of the skull. The Phoenix bird is made up of iridescent pink and opaque purple wings, swirly pink body, opaque pink and purple tail, and a tiny bright amber beak. The feathers, that look more like leaves, and made from gorgeous transparent swirly light grey glass with a super light grey mouth as the feather tips. The whole piece is adorned in tinned copper wire detailing and then finished in black patina. Hangs from a long, decorative gunmetal chain. A large and hefty piece.
Item measures 8.75" tall x 7.5" wide. Dimensions do not include the length of the chain.
