Tucson locals can select free Local Pickup during checkout. Pickup is at my home studio near Ft. Lowell and Tucson. Pickups will be held for 90 days and then reshelved without refund.

Cactus  Coasters and Wine Tasting
Wednesday, November 4
5-7pm
@ Tucson Hop Shop

In this intro level workshop, students will make (2) of their own 4x4" Cactus coasters using pages from cactus ID books / magazines. Use one image or make a collage of your own design! Sonoran Desert inspired beverages provided by Parch. 

The workshop will cover the following:

• Cactus imagery selection 

• Background glass selection

• Glass cleaning

• Creating your design

• Sanding corners of glass

• Tacking down cactus images

• Wrapping the piece in copper foil

• Finishing with rubber feet

Class fee includes materials for (2) projects, use of tools/equipment, and wine tasting of 4-5 wines chosen just for us! 

Open to participants aged 16+. Closed toed shoes are required. When working with glass there is a chance of getting cut. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver - please plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign forms.

Minimum of 8 students required. If minimum is not met, the workshop will be cancelled and you will receive a refund. In the case that you need to cancel, we require 1 week notice for a full refund.
