This beauty is really a stunning statement piece. Similar to my regular flat cacti, this gorgeous rendition features a crown of quartz crystals instead of the usual wire spines. The piece does have wire spines on one side of the glass seams, so it does have a "front" (no wire spines on the back of the piece). I love the way the teal glass selections match the teal of the pot's glaze. This pot came from the Tucson Clay Co-op but was abandoned there after a season of classes. I happily upcycled it to house this luminous cactus. The glass cactus is adhered into its pot so it can't be tampered with.
This piece measures 4" wide by 6" tall.
Each piece I offer is handmade by me in my little studio in Tucson, AZ. I use mostly recycled or upcycled components and work to have as little environmental impact as possible.
